Experience

Ms. Miriam Paola Mambrú Suero is an Associate Attorney at the Corporate Practice Group at González & Coiscou. Before joining González & Coiscou, Ms. Mambrú had served as Associate Attorney for the Real Estate and Corporate area at the firm Pellerano & Herrera. She has also acted as local advisor with regards to transfers of property, credits, determination of heirs, partition of property, contributions in kind, and in the analysis of the potential risks in Real Estate acquisitions and guarantees for credit in local and international financial institutions.

Ms. Mambrú has also advised clients in cases of complex inheritance matters, purchase and sale of touristic properties and in complex Real Estate transactions, including acquisitions, financing and disposition of property, as well as advised foreign clients in real estate and general corporate matters.

Ms. Mambrú concentrates her practice in Commercial Law, Real Estate, Corporate Law and Foreign Investment.

Education

Ms. Mambrú is a graduate of the School of Law, Faculty of Law and Political Sciences, of the Pontificia Universidad Catolica Madre y Maestra (PUCMM), with a law degree (LLB) in 2008, and has obtained various degrees in Corporate Law and Real Estate Law and Procedure. In 2009 she received the degree of Master in International and Comparative Law at the University Jean Moulin (Lyon 3) in Lyon, France.

Likewise, Ms. Mambrú has participated in various conferences and seminars, as well as participated in several courses in her area of exercise.

Affiliations

Ms. Mambrú is a member of the Dominican Bar Association. She is also a member of the Dominican Chapter of the Latin American Council of International and Comparative Law (COLADIC-RD) and the organization "Friends of Jessup", which is composed of professionals and students who have participated in the Phillip C. Jessup International Moot Court Competition, one of the largest and most recognized Moot Court competitions in International Law, held annually in Washington, DC, United States of America.
